Significant Events: As most of you know I was not a part of the ’74 graduating class because I spent more time goofing off instead of doing my homework!!! Here's what has been going on with me for the past 30 years.
After graduating in ’75 I spent one year at A-B Tech in the Machine Shop program, on my father’s request, but then went to Johnson City to attend East Tennessee State University where I earned my Bachelors of Fine Art. After graduating I moved to New York City and worked as a commercial photographer for Time Life Books for about a year then moved to Atlanta where I worked as a medical photographer and subsequently opened my own studio.
During some bad economic times in the late 80’s I closed my studio and attended Southern Polytechnic State University to earn my degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, this is where I learned how to program computers.
That brings us to today… I am a computer programmer for a Belgium freight company where I help write tracking software for freight. However, as of 2005 I am opening another studio and leaving computers behind and going back to my first love, photography.
I left Asheville a long time ago and even though I denied myself the opportunity to graduate with you guys, it would great to see everybody again. I would not miss this reunion for the world!
