William Charles Searcy

Charles Searcy, 53, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at his home at 10 Candler Heights Rd., Candler.  He grew up on Pole Creasman Road in Bent Creek.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Joyce Kuykendall Searcy; son, Jeffrey Adam Searcy of the home; four brothers, Wayne and Peggy Searcy, Robert and Patty Searcy, Lloyd Searcy, and Mike Searcy; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Billy Joe Kuykendall of the home; sisters-in-law, Betty and John Elliott and Mary Kuykendall; and a special friend, Sid Mathis.

Charles and his family lived in the Cruso Community of Haywood County for about 15 years.  He and Joyce worked together at handyman jobs in the community. Charles loved the outdoors.
