Children's Names: I have three children. Lee (34), has his own window cleaning business and cleans my windows for free several times a year! Yeah! Brian (32) works as a plumber and is a great help too! Noel (24) just graduated from WCU with a BS in nursing. She is following in my footsteps and is currently working trauma care at Mission. It will be great to have my own caregiver when I get older! I have three grandchildren Devin (17), Isaiah (12) and Caleb (6). Devin will become an adult and Isaiah will become a teenager this year.....both on March 28th! Caleb is a little whirlwind of constant motion and sharp as a tack!
Occupation: I have worked for the VA Hospital since 1978. Currently, I am the night house supervisor. I could have retired nearly three years ago, but I am just not ready yet. For some strange reason, I decided to go back to school several years ago. I will graduate from WCU with my BS in nursing next spring. My daughter obtaining her BSN led me to it! For the most part, I am actually enjoying it!
Special Interests: My family and friends are my greatest joy! I love the beach and taking trips, especially with the grandkids. We enjoy the simple things in life. My interests include reading, working puzzles, playing games, watching movies, taking pictures and making photobooks.
