Occupation: Resource Teacher at Hominy Valley Elementary School
Special Interests: I enjoy watercolor painting, quilting, music, cooking, baking, and traveling with my family. We love to go to Savannah, GA and we try to visit different cities every year. I like going to concerts and have gotten to see Prince, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, John Mellancamp, Earth Wind and Fire and Chicago to name a few in the last few years. I like the oldie but goodie bands!
Significant Events: I'm a graduate of Western Carolina University, class of 1978. I started my college career studying music, that's where I met Paul. But, I changed to Education and have been working with children in some capacity for many years. I've been married to Paul for 36 years this July. I'm getting closer and closer to retiring from Buncombe County Schools. I look forward to that day!
