Significant Events: Met Belinda in December 1978, married in 1984, 20th Anniversary coming up in September.
Other: Graduated from A-B Tech in 1976 with an Associate Arts Degree in Business Administration. My brother Stuart (Class of '69) and I opened Hall Brothers Furniture in the fall of 1976. Struggled through the first year and then the great flood of November 1977 put us out of business. Forty inches of water in a furniture store is not a good thing. Stuart bought City Foreign Auto Supply in Asheville in 1980 and I've worked for him ever since. We built the first Texaco Xpress Lube (Ten Minute Oil Change) in Asheville on Hendersonville Road in 1994 and sold it in 1999 to concentrate on the auto parts business.
