Lesia Jones Craig
Lesia Craig, 59, loving mother, wife, sister, and grandmother, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 after a long battle with Ataxia.
A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Jones and Pauline Ball Jones. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Roy Lee Jones and Rickey Jones.
Lesia was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church for over 50 years, and she enjoyed helping with Vacation Bible School for many years. She retired from Enka High School where she worked in the cafeteria.
Surviving are her husband of 43 years Tony Craig; daughter, Angie Gwaltney and husband Brian of Weaverville; son, Marc Craig and wife Lizz of Boiling Springs, SC; grandchildren: Caleb, Sarah, Grace, and Bryce; sisters: Almeria Waldrop and husband Mike of Candler, Shelia Passmore and husband Jerry of Mooresville, and Pam Goodson and husband Levon of Candler; brother, Ernie Jones and wife Celina of Candler; and many nieces and nephews.
