Occupation: Partner at Cloninger, Barbour, Searson & Jones, PLLC law firm located in downtown Asheville.
Special Interests: Golf, Movies, Traveling, and Community Theatre. I'm on the board of Asheville Community Theatre and its immediate past president.
Significant Events: LaNita and I just celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary. In 2002 went to the Masters in Augusta, GA, and the Kentucky Derby in Louisville, KY. We were able to return to the Masters in 2004.
Other: I have been practicing law since 1981 and started a new law firm in 1999. In 2002, I became a founding member of a limited liability company to develop residential properties in golf communities. The first house was completed and sold in January 2004.
